Letter Tracing

A game in Alphabet Kingdom · Ages 4–7

🎯 Skills your child practices

  • Fine motor control
  • Pencil grip readiness
  • Letter formation

💡 Why it matters

Tracing builds the hand strength and motor memory kids need before writing on paper. Following ordered dots teaches correct letter formation from the start.

🏡 Try it offline

  • 🧩 Trace letters in a tray of salt, sand, or shaving cream.
  • 🧩 Draw giant letters with sidewalk chalk and “walk” them.

❓ Parent FAQs

Touchscreen or mouse?

Both work. A touchscreen or stylus is closest to real handwriting, but a mouse or trackpad is fine too.

Does order matter?

The dots guide the recommended stroke order, which makes the leap to paper handwriting easier.
