1. Read the Passage
Honeybees are amazing insects that live together in large groups called colonies. Each colony has one queen, thousands of worker bees, and some male bees called drones. Worker bees fly from flower to flower collecting sweet nectar. Back at the hive, they turn the nectar into honey to store as food. As bees move between flowers, they also carry tiny grains of pollen. This pollination helps plants make seeds and grow new fruit. Without bees, many of the foods we love would be much harder to grow.
